Service was excellent and location is great but the actual rooms and structure of the hotel has some serious flaws. I would not stay here again. The primary thing for me is the *water pressure* in the shower is a slow drip. If you care about having decent water pressure, this place will disappoint. Also the bathroom had no vent/fan to ventilate steam or odor. The ceilings are also probably like 6.5ft tall, so…VERY low ceilings. Also, the outlet cover fully came off the wall when we plugged an appliance in the bathroom. This 1950s building feels like it would’ve been better retrofitted into a condo or apartment complex. As a hotel, it just feels like a dressed up façade with so many disappointing imperfections in the rooms. I can’t recommend this place despite the delightful and kind staff.

We stayed here for a staycation in November 2022 and had a perfect experience because of Ms. Kenyatta. We literally came back and celebrated my birthday just because of her. She remembered me and my wife from a year ago! Customer service is second to none. Great amenities and the rooms are always clean. Spacious rooms. Justin was also very helpful at the front desk and him and Kenyatta made sure we didn't need for anything during our stay. We will continue to choose Kimpton Sylvan over others in the area as long as they keep their staff and amazing perks. I'll be back in a week, as well!

We stayed for my husband's birthday in November and had an amazing stay. Check in was a breeze. Customer service from Justin and Kenyatta were top notch. They went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had a great stay. The room was very clean and modern. We also really enjoyed the roof top bar and dj.The bartender Eric was also very nice and made incredible drinks. There was also another bar downstairs that had a really cool vibe and was very nicely decorated. We didnt eat at the restaurant but looked like a really cool vibe. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be staying again!

Lovely hotel. Immaculately clean. Pet friendly, which made for an interesting stay, watching visitors come in with their dogs. We stayed here for a wedding at Bishop Station, and a nice bus was provided to shuttle us to and from. I recommend the hotel.

What a pleasant surprise! Chose the hotel based on location and price for a work trip and was such a treat to arrive at. Service was impeccable. Mr. Pickett at the front desk was lovely. Bartender at the rooftop was very friendly and helpful. Like the design overall. Rooftop bar is a good spot (pictured) and restaurant Betty’s downstairs looked good as well. Got tacos and they were tasty and good came out quick.

We had an excellent time here as the service and options were solid. Mr. Pickett continues to do amazing work and never hold a grudge when a request is made. I proposed to my gal at The Betty restaurant and just had an excellent time. The rooftop bar St. Julep, is very neat and offers great views. The location is very good and safe. I sure hope management promotes Mr. Pickett as he is a valuable asset.

Our stay at the Kimpton Sylvan hotel was phenomenal and no less than memorable! The staff was very accommodating and went above and beyond to make our wedding stay so special. Everyone from the front desk to Courtney, Elo, Isaac, Chris and Mr.P all played a valuable role on our wedding day! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity and hospitality! Because of you, We have such beautiful memories.

if I could leave no stars I would. staff was very unprofessional. Valet lost our keys and no one seemed to care. They also wouldn’t give us our refund back that we paid for valet and told us their supervisor wasn’t going to be there until Monday so we have to wait a couple days to speak with him. DO NOT GO HERE AT ALL. whenever we got there they didn’t us a ticket or anything so they knew which car was ours. After 45 minutes of them just chilling around looking for our keys they found it in some duck tap ?!? What type of place is this.
